州长说在摆脱封锁后的第一个任务是白天带六个孩子去 “好玩的地方”。晚上与美丽的妻子浪漫约会。
这一下把州长夫人Helen Perrottet推到了众人面前。这几天，州长的大家庭一直是热门话题，许多人都好奇他们俩作为一个年轻的家庭，将如何在繁忙工作的同时兼顾抚养这6斤子女。

有人问：州长太太Helen Perrottet是不是一个家庭主妇？
不！Helen 女士也是个杰出人物，她曾是澳大利亚联邦警察（Australian Federal Police）的官员，也曾在澳大利亚国防军（Australian Defence Force）的公共关系部门工作，同时晚上还上课学法律，并于2018年加入 Bicknell Law and Consulting，担任高级律师合伙人，Helen此前曾为其他律师事务所工作，包括担任4年诉讼律师，Helen还从事就业法和工作场所调查工作。此外，她还曾担任政治顾问，在酒店、零售、清洁、保安、物业管理、教堂和建筑等行业为政府和行业集团提供咨询，拥有丰富的经验。并担任联邦巡回法院法官（Federal Circuit Court Judge）的助理。

对Helen来说，工作和家庭并非全部。她曾夺得澳大利亚Ceroc舞蹈初学者锦标赛( Australian Beginner Championships of Ceroc Dancing)的冠军，Ceroc舞蹈是摇摆舞、交际舞和摇摆舞的混合舞种。但是法律的吸引力太大了，Helen放弃了自己喜爱的舞蹈职业，进入了律师行业。
Perrottet先生说，他在竞选新州议员的过程中经历了许多成功和失败，“在这整个过程中，我美丽的妻子Helen一直在陪伴着我。”

他说：“她一直支持我，给我建议，最重要的是她一直在那里倾听我的声音。
